SUSTAINABILITY ADVISORY
From an historical perspective, the concept of Sustainability has been formulated in 1972, at the first United Nations Conference on the Environment. It took shape in 1987, when the Bruntdtland Report ” Our Common Future”, begun clarify the goals of sustainable development as being “development that meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own need”.
Sustainability is thus both an holistic and dynamic concept that goes well beyond ESG reporting and answering norms.
This is why, at pixán we work with experts, doctors and PhD graduates, with unique backgrounds, original views and diversity in academic training, work and experience, to possibly transform sustainability constraints, efforts and targets, either unconventional or mainstream, into positive impact on the way we live.
pixán is about ideas; yours and ours.
RESEARCH
At pixán we develop sustainability related R&D programmes dedicated to projects and solutions that help make communities healthier, more prosperous and safer.
We think and roll-out these R&D programmes for our own moonshot projects, but more so on behalf of a variety of private or public clients, patrons and sponsors.
Our teams of experts and researchers can address sustainability issues through all what impact people in their ordinary life, including health and well-being, education, IT, data and security, growth and development, energy and water resources….
They use the very best analytical tools and methods to deliver fact-based actionable solutions grounded in rigorous analysis.
Plus, they have French flair.
SOVEREIGN SOLUTIONS
At pixán we believe that sustainability is not a one-size-fits-all concept, but a dynamic framework. If one wants to accurately reflect the ever changing circumstances and differing priorities of people and societies, companies and markets, sustainability strategies cannot result in static results.
Which is why sovereign sustainability concepts and approaches (those applied for country risk analysis) should be developed at the level of each and every private or public entity. Because when sustainability hits IT, not a single company would want someone else deciding if part or all their software usage is acceptable. Companies must strive to consider IT self-sufficiency and unrestricted use of their IT tools (software, data storage, multi-cloud, …).
They must articulate the sustainability of their IT -and other technical resources- to be independent of international sanctions.
pixán‘s commitment is to tangible and quantifiable results using the best available sovereign solutions. To our ability to have a positive effect on our clients’ IT world by applying rigorous and objective analysis to nurture and grow projects and assignments within optimized sovereign environments.
